The staff left a serious negative mark on what was otherwise a very good stay. Around 80% were unfriendly, impatient, and visibly irritated. I don’t think a hotel of this standard should accept that level of service. Breakfast was decent but quite standard, with a limited choice of fruit and fresh juices, which used to be more common in Austrian hotels. Dinner made a much better impression: courses usually included a starter, a choice of meat, fish, or vegetarian main, and an excellent dessert. The spa deserves full marks. It has a warm pool, jacuzzi, saunas, different steam baths, relaxation rooms, showers, and very good facilities. The classic furnishings felt high quality and were very well maintained, giving the hotel a luxurious but tasteful Austrian feel without excess. The location is excellent, close to the ski slopes while still in the town center, near the spa, supermarkets, cafés, and other things you might need. The town and surrounding area are ideal for a winter holiday. My rating: 7/10.

The food was easily the highlight of my stay. We had half board, with a huge salad bar at dinner and a served appetizer plus a main course we chose. Breakfast had plenty of options for different diets, and they could prepare eggs too. The blonde woman serving breakfast was especially friendly and made us feel welcome and noticed. The front desk staff were welcoming. Our room was big enough, had a balcony, and had its own bathroom, even though I was sharing with someone. The spa includes a sauna and thoughtful touches like water beds with headphones for relaxing sounds. One of my favorite hotel stays in recent memory.

There are plenty of good places to unwind in the wellness area, with different saunas, pools, and spa showers. The hotel is quiet, clean, and well located near points of interest. The staff were kind and professional when they welcomed us and our dogs, who were given treats, a dog bed, and bowls.

I’ve never before been charged just to have coffee brought up to my room. A €10 room service charge just for that feels a bit ridiculous.

We had a great family weekend with seven adults. The wellness facilities were clean, modern, and nice, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and competent. I lost a small but valuable earring while moving to another room, and the cleaning staff found it. That was unbelievable. Great value for money, and I’d gladly recommend the place and come back.
