The hotel was comfortable, the breakfast was good, the room was cleaned every day, and the staff were very good. But the stay was completely ruined by the unnecessary noise from Silver Bullet Bar. Music started at 4pm and went on until 4am every night, so we couldn’t sleep. I’ll never come here again. Why won’t anything change? The large corporate hotel group owns everything here, including the noisy bar.

The local nightclub is only metres away and makes an awful amount of noise. It’s open from 4pm to 4am, with activity continuing even later. After a day skiing, there’s no way to sleep, and you end up exhausted after 12 hours of techno. Avoid.

Breakfast and the restaurant, Angelo, were both good, and the staff were excellent. The hotel is close to the lifts, but the spot itself stays quiet. A perfect base for skiing in Bad Gastein. All that was missing was snow 😉

We stayed from 9.-16.9.2023 and had half board. We only paid extra for drinks. The room was fine, though we had a six-person family room for just two of us, and the beds were okay but not the best. The food at restaurand Angelo was excellent. There were different appetisers each day, and the main course was fantastic. Desserts were good, the wine was fine, and the wine prices were more than reasonable.

The location is hard to beat, with bars, restaurants and the slopes close by, while the streets are very quiet. Staff were helpful, and they offer free luggage service. The rooms were comfortable, but neither they nor the building had a particularly cozy, distinctive or picturesque feel. Breakfast was continental and could have had a bit more variety.
