We liked it enough to come back twice during our four-day stay. The soup and schnitzel were great, and the gentleman serving us was kind and helpful. The interior is decorated with a lot of style.

The rooms are a decent size and the breakfast is great. It’s a fairly simple place, but the location is hard to beat, and the staff are friendly. There’s no bar in the evenings, which could be a plus or a minus depending on what you’re after. If you do want a drink, there are plenty of nearby places.

This is a convenient choice if you want to be close to everything. Shopping and the cable cars are five to ten minutes away, and there are good restaurants nearby. The staff are kind, and I especially want to recognize their work. It seems ideal for solo travelers. The central spot is beside the railway station and main road, so it isn’t quiet. I’d recommend staying here for convenience, but it may not suit you if you want to get away from civilization and spend the day at the hotel.

The owner gave us a map and suggested some interesting places to visit. We followed her tips and had a wonderful time. I’m usually more restrained in my reviews, but we honestly loved staying here and would absolutely recommend it. Our room was large and well furnished, with a nice desk, comfy chairs, a big TV and a private balcony. The ensuite bathroom had a bathtub and even a heated towel rack. The beds were very comfortable, everything was clean, and breakfast was included as a continental buffet.

The hotel itself was really nice, but the bathrooms brought it down to three stars for me. The shower kept switching between cold and warm. I’m also not a fan of Austrian toilets.
