We had a double room with a gorgeous view over the castle and valley. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was nice, and room service was great. They even left complimentary chocolates, tea, coffee and water. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was a bit too expensive for us, but we were happy to find somewhere local to eat. The location and views are lovely. I’d highly recommend staying here.

The Göttlich family really looked after us and put in extra effort to make our week with family and friends memorable. The rooms were comfortable and quiet, and the hotel is well placed for Dorfgastein. You can drive or catch the ski bus from the premises, with a 5-15 minute ride to the slopes. We’ll stay here again when we’re back in Gastein.

We only went for a meal, and it was wonderful. The food was very good, service was quick, the staff were friendly, and the price was reasonable. The restaurant is fairly small and also serves hotel guests, so a few people had to be turned away while we were there. Booking ahead is a good idea.

A lovely family runs this well kept place. It feels peaceful and close to nature, almost like heaven, and gave me real peace of mind. A must stay when visiting Austria.

A great place with really good food, and plenty of it ;-) Families will appreciate the big kids area in front of the hotel.
