The host was so thoughtful and kind during our stay. One day she surprised us with muffins, such a lovely gesture that made us feel even more welcome. The place was cozy, comfortable, spotless, and very well equipped, like a home away from home. I've stayed in all sorts of places over the years, from hotels and hostels to private rooms, houses, and Airbnbs, and this is honestly the best accommodation I've experienced so far. If I come back to the Hochkar area, this will be my first choice.

The hosts were friendly and attentive, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches and warm atmosphere. The apartment was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen for making meals. After skiing, it was a comfortable place to unwind. We were on a ski trip in Austria, and the location made it easy to reach both Hochkar and Lackenhof/Ötscher. The surrounding area was beautiful too.

A great place to stay, about 20 minutes from the Hochkar ski centrum and maybe four minutes from a market where you can get what you need.

We were really hoping to spend a weekend here, but I was disappointed by the responsible lady’s manner. I called to ask if they spoke English. She answered, “NO!” and hung up right away. That’s not really how they’d want to treat potential customers.

We had a relaxing vacation in beautiful surroundings, with waterfalls, mountains, gorges, and great hiking spots such as Lake Lunz, the Mendlingtal Valley, and the Ötschergräben. Our apartment was clean, spacious, and well equipped, with a balcony and gazebo. The Lange family welcomed us so warmly and looked after us kindly for the whole stay. Highly recommended! Many thanks and kind regards, R.W.
