The apartment gave our family plenty of room, and I enjoyed cooking one meal a day while we were visiting Graz. There was enough cookware and space to feel comfortable. We only got instant coffee and a couple of tea bags for our four-night stay, though. We hadn’t paid for breakfast, and coffee cost 2 euros. Other hotels we stayed at around Austria offered coffee and tea all day for free. It seemed odd not to have that here. When I was shown the coffee machine on the first day, it wasn’t clear to me that coffee and tea were free all day, so after that we didn’t bother.

The breakfast had lots of choice and was excellent, and the hotel is very close to Graz’s old city. Our room was large by European hotel standards and very clean. The staff were friendly, quick to help, and spoke both English and German.

The receptionists were fantastic. After we ran a marathon and checked out, they let us use another room to shower. There’s private parking, the rooms are big, and breakfast was excellent. For the price and quality, this is probably the best hotel in town. Just great.

The location is a little way from the city center, but that didn’t bother me. The rooms were nice, large and tidy, and it was quiet. Breakfast was good too. Thanks for the service.
