Reception shuts at 10:00 PM, so checking in later than that isn’t possible. Apart from that, it’s a clean, comfortable place in the city center and a good budget choice if you’re not looking for frills.

It’s in an excellent spot, close to everything, and works well if you’re traveling alone or as a couple and want to save money while walking around the city highlights. The buffet breakfast is decent, though I think it could cost less. Rooms are functional and have a desk. It’s basically a backpacker hostel v2.0, so don’t expect to feel like royalty. The shower and sink are in the room, with a transparent shower window, while the toilet has its own door. They could clean or update the sink and shower, since they look worn and untidy.

It’s easy to get into the centre of Graz from here, though the immediate area gets quite lively in the evenings. Breakfast was as expected, with enough to eat.

The receptionist was kind and helpful, and breakfast was simple but went down well. Parking costs 12€/day. This is a budget hotel, with a room that covers the basics: bed, toilet and shower. It’s handy for a city break because the city center is close, but not somewhere I’d choose to spend half a day relaxing in the room. The view was from our window. One downside was music playing too loudly until after 00, probably because there’s a student dorm next door.
