The family who own and run Hotel Schiederhof were extremely friendly, and the service was to a very high standard. My room was spotless and nicely decorated. The food was very good, well prepared, and paired with a lovely wine selection. I had a really enjoyable stay and can only recommend this hotel.

We stayed in an amazing family suite, with everything we needed. The hotel is conveniently placed for getting to most local attractions, and the atmosphere, cleanliness, location, and service all felt dreamy. The staff were amazing and always smiling. Breakfast was adequate rather than extensive, but there was a good range of things: eggs, vegetables, cheese, yogurt, jams, fruit, pastries, and sausage.

Half board is so preiswert, and Heidi and Marcus make us feel at home from the moment we arrive until our drahtesel are ready to hit the road again. That's why we keep coming back to schiederhof whenever my partner and I fly to Europe for an alpine cycling trip. It's a real highlight of the holiday, even with the steep ride into the valley and the annoying detour for the whole schnappsidee. We wouldn't miss it. We'll be back, and we miss euch! Franz

The food was great, and Alex, our waiter, was an absolute delight. The location is splendid.

The mountain setting is beautiful, and the service was superb. I’d happily stop here again anytime.
