We had plenty to do around JUFA Grundlsee, from hiking to swimming in the lake, and visiting the Salzbergwerk Altaussee. We came as a family with three kids and our dog, and we all loved our stay. I'd happily recommend it.

Our mezzanine room at JUFA Hotel Grundlsee felt roomy and charming, and breakfast in the cozy dining area was a lovely start to the day. The hotel sits in a peaceful spot by the lake, with welcoming staff and great accommodations. There are nice things for families too, including a playground and a little football field. A comfortable, restful place to stay, highly recommended.

Rain, fog, and cold didn't make the room uncomfortable, the heating worked really well. The bathroom was spacious enough for our family, and both breakfast and dinner offered plenty of tasty food. The hotel is beautiful, right beside Grundlsee, with a wonderful mountain view. The staff were friendly. Recommended.

The hotel is so close to the lake, and I really liked its location and atmosphere. The Schnitzel was just right. I wish I'd been able to stay another two days.

I went by after 8 o'clock to ask about booking a room for my wife's parents, but there was no one at reception, even though someone was supposed to be there at 8. The cleaning staff couldn't tell me when she would arrive either. If the hotel wants guests, they should show a bit more interest. The area is popular and there aren't many other hotel choices, so I suppose you could give it a try.
