The staff were friendly, and the old house has a lovely feel. Breakfast was good, but the mattresses and linen were very old and worn out.

We had a delicious breakfast and such a personal welcome from the host and his wife. They’re warm, lovely people who take a real interest in their guests. It’s a peaceful place to stay overnight if you’re passing through on your way to Italy, right at the end of the road with the brook and tinkling cowbells around you. From Gschnitz, you can also head into the mountains in every direction, and Thomas can tell you more about that.

The room was atmospheric and lovely, with beautiful mountain and stream views from the window. It had everything we could want, including a fridge, kettle, coffee machine, coffee, and tea. There’s a waterfall and an open-air museum nearby, and it’s a wonderful place to unwind. The hosts gave us a wonderful welcome. You really should visit :)

We stayed at Pirschenhof in winter and found it a beautiful spot, with a fair price. The family who runs it is lovely, helpful, and relaxed. It’s a great base for walks and cross-country skiing. Definitely recommend it.

The mountain and stream views made the area especially lovely. We felt right at home, and our hostess was so friendly and helpful. I only wish we could have stayed longer than one night. Thank you for the warm welcome :-)
