There’s plenty of room and the apartment is clean and pleasant. The host was friendly, and we had parking and a well-equipped kitchen. Kreischberg is about a five-minute drive away.

We’ve returned several times for ski trips to Murau. The place is simple, spotless, and has all the basics we need. Parking is close to the entrance, and the slopes are nearby, with a quiet side road leading down to the ski lift.

Herta is a fantastic host, happy to offer tips and sell homemade dairy products and jams. The apartments are very clean and just right for two. It’s a charming guesthouse, within walking distance of the Kreischberg valley station, though only just. Highly recommended.

The heating was excellent, and the landlady was friendly. It’s close to the ski slopes and good value for the money.
