We stopped in at Haileen late, close to closing time, and still got excellent service. The staff were lovely and spoke good English. We tried two cheesecakes and cheese strudel with hot chocolate and tea, and there were loads of fresh cakes to choose from. Just note they take cash only.

The Christmas card was such a nice touch. We felt very welcome, and the host was kind and easy to reach. The room had plenty of space and was well equipped. We left with expectations exceeded and would happily come back.

It was wonderfully quiet here, both at night and during the day, so this apartment hotel worked really well for a peaceful getaway. The owner greeted us warmly and even left us pastries in the morning. We had everything we needed in the apartment, including pans, a kettle, a stove and a dishwasher, which made meals easy. Lovely atmosphere, and I'd recommend staying here when visiting.

Last month, a friendly woman served me so well that I brought guests from India with me today. This visit was a letdown. I ordered three coffees and croissants; the coffees came, but the croissants were still in the oven, and the man went off for a cigarette. When I asked about them, he was rude and unfriendly. I drank my coffee and took the croissants home. He argued with me instead of apologizing. I won't come back. Best of luck.

Good coffee and pastries, and they bring them out with a smile.
