The booking with Margarethe and Josef was simple and stress-free, and they made us feel welcome. The apartment was clean and well furnished, with a small but well-equipped kitchen. It was warm enough in winter, which matters most. The ski bus stop is a minute away, and the bus takes another 3-4 minutes to the cableway. You’re away from the rush but still only a 10-minute walk from the village center, with grocery shops, bars, restaurants, ski rentals, and a local doctor. I was surprised such a small village had everything we needed. There was good beer on tap too. A lovely place for a couple or a whole family. We hope to see you again soon.

A family-friendly place to stay, with apartments that are comfortable and practical. A great base for a holiday near Austria’s highest mountain, and highly recommended.

There are lovely walks all around the area, and the kids had a nice garden to play in. Some evenings, horseback riding is available too. The apartment had what we needed, including a kitchen and very comfortable beds. Our hostess was so friendly, and we had a wonderful stay. Highly recommended!

The morning sun still reaches this cozy place, even in the darkest part of the year, and the views are something else, from the farm’s horses to the ice waterfalls beyond. Heiligenblut is beautiful, and the hosts were extremely friendly. The apartment and kitchen are superbly equipped, and everything was straightforward. There are two bus options to the ski area, which is a real gem when there’s enough snow.

We’ve been visiting Heiligenblut with our children for years, and once again we felt very at home in the Bergsee holiday apartment. It’s charmingly furnished, and we were welcomed so warmly. Coffee, apple strudel, and a lovely chat made us feel right at home. Thank you for the hospitality. We’ll definitely return.
