The view was the only good part. When we arrived, we were told electricity was extra, although that wasn’t stated anywhere in the contract. Over our five-day stay, the meter supposedly reached 453 kW, even though we used the sauna only once. The house has solar panels, but apparently they’re for the owner alone. He also said we had damaged the tiles above the stove, which simply wasn’t true. The whole situation felt deceptive, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

The house has an amazing mountain view. Watching sunrise and sunset through the clouds each day was a real experience, and the sauna was great, very hot and roomy enough for 6-8 people. Be prepared to use snow chains on your tires to reach the house up the hill in winter, though it adds a bit of adventure. A lifetime experience, absolutely amazing place!

The view is beautiful, but we don’t recommend staying here. The owner said we’d used 450 kW of electricity in five days, then charged us an extra 450 x €0.50. I use 3000 kW at home in a whole year. He also blamed heat from the heating for damaging the tiles above it and wanted money for that too. It felt like he was trying every way to get money from us.

We’ve stayed at "Tomperkasa" twice now, both times in winter with a large group. The apartment is very clean, the kitchen has everything, and it’s wonderfully quiet. The host is helpful, and the electricity bill is completely fair. Bring your supplies along, since getting to the supermarket is a bit complicated. We’ll definitely return.
