We had a great apartment for the week, and Franz and Andrea were very accommodating. The week went by so quickly :) There’s a ski lift a short walk away, though it’s uphill. You can park there and leave your skis and boots in lockers. The views are amazing, and Ski Welt is huge and really fun :)

Andrea and Franz made us feel at home with their kindness and warm hospitality. The house is comfortable, well cared for, and thoughtfully laid out, with beautiful, peaceful surroundings. I had a wonderful stay at Oberschernthann and am already looking forward to coming back. Thanks, Andrea & Franz!

The morning bread service was a real highlight, and Hopfgarten and Hohe Solve are stunning. We were very glad our family stayed with Franz and Andrea. The accommodation was comfortable, and they were welcoming and friendly. We hope we can return someday.

The apartments are spacious and have everything we needed for a ski trip. Even the heated bathroom floor was a nice bonus. It’s only a minute’s walk to the slopes, and there’s a sauna plus fresh bread every morning. Franz welcomed us warmly on the first evening, and he and Andrea were wonderful throughout. Shame I can only give five stars.

We had a wonderful stay. Franz and Andrea were welcoming, attentive hosts, and the apartments are large, comfortable, and practical. The house sits at 1,000 m, outside the village, so it’s peaceful, though getting there in winter can be difficult. There’s a sauna in the basement with a mini-bar, which you can book for a couple of hours. For skiing, we found it easiest to walk about 10 minutes uphill to the nearest cable car, where every apartment has its own ski locker. You can also reach the slopes more directly off-piste by walking through a small forest and across a couple of fields.
