During your holiday, the hotel owner watches you, yells at you, and snaps at you over whatever you do. That includes drying swim towels on the balcony or laughing during a pleasant breakfast conversation. If that sounds like your kind of stay, this is your hotel. Never again! There are many nice hotels in the area where you’re treated as a welcome guest.

The lake outside the hotel was beautiful, but the price was far too high. The service and facilities for guests were poor for what we paid, and the Wi-Fi wasn’t very good. It’s a very old hotel, and I don’t understand why a room for two costs about 640 euros.

It was an okay stay, but I wouldn’t come back, at least not in summer. We were there during hot weather, and with no air conditioning the room got very hot. It’s an old hotel, though very clean, with a lovely lake view from right out front and a garden. The spacious room had attractive old furniture, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. There’s a minibar with various drinks, but they’re rather pricey. There’s no complimentary tea or coffee and no Wi-Fi in the room. I wouldn’t call it a five-star hotel.
