Austria Trend Hotel Congress Innsbruck

The shower had the best water pressure we came across on our travels through Europe, and the room was clean, comfortable and roomy. There’s a Spar next door for a snack or quick lunch, and it’s an easy walk to the city centre and main transport. The Nordkette ticket office is less than ten minutes away. We stayed two nights in early January and loved it. The welcome pass made it easy to use the buses. Staff were phenomenal from check-in through check-out, and helped with directions and suggestions for places to go. We took the discounted inclusive breakfast, and that was a great call. There was a good range of hot and cold food, plus staff were happy to make things like omelettes or soft-boiled eggs at no extra charge. It’s filling and handy when you want to fuel up before a busy day. Thanks for having us. We’ll be back!

I stayed three nights in a Superior Room with one other person in mid October 2025. The room was clean, had the usual business hotel amenities and enough space for two adults. The only issue was the frameless shower, which had no door, so some water escaped. Service was good and I had no other problems. I’d stay here again. The hotel is modern and close to the town centre and public transport, so it’s a good option for a short stay. There’s a Spar beside it, and it’s about a ten-minute walk to the centre. The train station directly opposite takes you up to the Nordkette. A welcome drink was provided. The Innsbruck guest card for free public transport was available too, but I had to ask reception for it. Underground parking costs 20 euro per night and needs to be reserved in advance.

The room was spacious and clean, and there was covered parking, which was handy. The staff were kind and friendly. The hotel sits in a beautiful area on the Alps’ slopes, with a lovely view and an excellent location. The room was a little cold, though, and the bathtub didn’t drain properly. That was disappointing and took a bit away from the stay.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and I had a good stay. It’s a bit of a walk from the train station, but the hotel is well placed for most things in Innsbruck. Extras like breakfast and items from the fridge can cost a pretty penny. There’s a supermarket right next door, though, and some nice cafes and bakeries within an easy walk.
