Having a parking lot and being close to Innsbruck was handy. The setup is quite self-service, though: towels and cleaning cost extra, and guests have to take their own trash out. Once you know, that’s manageable, but it’s useful to know ahead of time. Rest was difficult. The walls are thin enough that I heard my neighbors snoring, and the people next door partied for three nights straight. The internet was very slow, and there was sometimes a sewage smell in the bathroom. Little things added to the frustration: soap in only one of the two bathrooms, so I had to buy my own, and not enough shower gel. I suppose that may be expected for this kind of accommodation, but comfort and quiet were lacking during my stay.

The room had plenty of space, with a separate bedroom and a living and dining area, and it had everything we needed to cook and do laundry. Getting there by public transport was easy, and there was ample parking, though the drive goes uphill a little. Carrying our big luggage up to the second floor was a challenge since there’s no elevator. The host sent the access code in advance, so check-in was simple. We came in mid-February, and snow fell on our last day. My daughters were thrilled. I’d recommend it to families looking for a comfortable stay.

The hallway decor was interesting, and the balcony had a beautiful view. My boyfriend and I were thrilled with the hotel. They’d left thoughtful little touches like sweets, and the bed was large and very comfortable. Plenty of towels, too.

Dear Karin welcomed me so warmly that I arrived a stranger and left feeling like a friend. It’s a lovely family-run place where you feel comfortable and at home. I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a nice stay in Innsbruck. Warm wishes from Rostock. ❤️
