We were in apartment 10.3 at Aparthotel Der Gletscherblick in Kaprun. It had been renovated recently and felt very high quality, with an alpine look, a big sofa and a nicely decorated kitchen that was well equipped. From the living room and roomy balcony, the view over Kaprun and the Kitzsteinhorn glacier was amazing. It’s close to the center and breakfast is available, though we skipped it because Billa is only 100 meters away. Mornings on the balcony with fresh coffee in the sun and that Kitzsteinhorn view were wonderful. There’s free parking and fast wifi too. I’d recommend it for a ski trip.

Modern and clean, with the hotel and apartment benefits together. The room was average in size, and the sauna and ski room were included. The beds may feel short if you’re tall.

The apartment was far too small for a family, and this was the worst of my five summers in kaprun. Their manners were awful, and the owner is a big loser who wants to sell the place because she can’t treat people well. Respecting a customer should come first. One star is already too much.

The place is clean, but they seem far too focused on money. They say it isn’t clean enough when you leave and demand an extra 400 euros. It feels like a scam.
