I’ve already booked to return next year after spending two weeks at Hotel Garni Entstrasser. My single room had a large single bed, everything I needed close at hand, and a balcony with a lovely mountain view and sunshine all day. I was never cold because the heating worked very well and was never turned off. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, and there’s a large swimming pool in the basement. It’s a wonderful Pension just outside central Kitzbuhel, about a 15-minute walk or two bus stops. The bus stops outside. Klaus and Bettina are delightful hosts who gave me a warm welcome and explained transport, ski areas, and restaurant options. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Breakfast is served in a beautiful room, with a huge choice: full English and continental breakfast, croissants, meats, cheeses, yogurt, fruit, muesli, bread rolls, and boiled eggs. Name it, and they have it. If they don’t, I’m sure they’d get it for you. I can’t wait to go back.

Breakfast was a highlight every day, with fresh choices, amazing coffee, the best hot chocolate, and staff who always greeted us with a smile. Bettina and Klaus patiently answered all our questions and advised us on what to visit and how to get there. They were friendly and accommodating throughout. Our week at Hotel Garni Entstrasser over Christmas and the 2026 New Year break was wonderful. The hotel has been renovated, with a beautiful lobby, clean rooms, comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, and a spacious pool and sauna. We’ll take home lots of memories from this trip. The owners are friendly, and the cleaning is excellent. Breakfast is plentiful, and although there are no evening meals, you can order drinks throughout the day. It’s a lovely small hotel with balconies in every room, plus an indoor pool that I used most days. There’s also a sauna and fitness room, though I didn’t use either.

The owner was extremely kind and helped me get some work things done by printing and scanning. I only stayed one night, but it was a very good stay. There’s a convenient location with parking, a nice garden, and a chill-out area. I didn’t try the wellness area. My single room was large and modern, with a comfortable bed, a useful PC desk, and a pleasant balcony overlooking the back garden. Breakfast was good, with some fresh options, though it could maybe be better. The price-to-quality ratio was good, and I’ll book here again next time. Well recommended. Thanks again.
