The owner really knows how to make your day. She's more than friendly, cares about her guests, and does her best to make everyone comfortable. The rooms are roomy, with a huge balcony, and the building has a lovely old feel. At night, though, the wooden bed makes too much noise, and the walls are quite thin. We'll definitely return anyway :)

We spent a fantastic week at Huttwirt. As a couple of paragliding pilots, we wanted somewhere peaceful and good value, and this place met and even beat our expectations. It's just a 5 minute walk from Fliegerbar and the cable car, and although it's near the street, nights were quiet. The service was incredibly welcoming and among the best I've had. Our room was clean and spacious. We skipped breakfast because I'm vegetarian, can't eat dairy, and avoid quite a few ingredients. I did see the breakfast prepared for others, though, and it looked really good, with lots of choice and great coffee from a professional machine. Guests without breakfast can use the kitchen facilities. A microwave, cooker, and kettle in the room would have been useful, but those are minor points and may just be standard for the area. Highly recommended!
