We drove more than an hour from Ljubljana during our holiday to try Amoria m, and we’d happily make the trip again. It was my first visit, but definitely not my last. The place is clean and well cared for, with a relaxed, slightly playful feel and tasteful decor. Everything seems considered, and it feels exclusive without overdoing it. We booked the VIP royal, though we didn’t stay overnight. It’s a different kind of spa experience, and I’d recommend it if you want something a little out of the ordinary.

We went to Amoria Spa for the Saturday event for pairs and single women, and it was quite an experience. The wellness area has a pretty spicy feel, which makes sense in an adults-only spa. “Adult things” were happening here and there, really just about everywhere. 😈 The place was spotless, and the owner was very kind and helpful. We’ll be back. One small thing: a few more loungers around the pool would be nice. 😉

We went on a Saturday night with a partner, and there were about 20 people, roughly ages 25-50. The atmosphere was great, and the staff were very friendly. Couples could be seen having fun, usually discreetly, and there are enough places for that. Everything was clean and well maintained. The wet and dry saunas were amazing, though the dry one could be a bit bigger. The pool is big enough, but the area around it feels narrow.

The spa itself was okay and gave us enough to relax without being over the top. It’s fully nudist, bar included, with three double beds. The decor and atmosphere are classic swinger-club style, although the hotel isn’t officially a swinger club. The hotel is near a busy 70 km/h road and a railway line, so you keep hearing one or the other. It isn’t really quiet. The building has been painted black and decorated in black, with black curtains and gold-framed mirrors, but the old colors still show through the poor paint job. Of the staff, only the breakfast manager and bartender were good. The receptionists were rude and incompetent. In response to the staff: this information needs to be clear on Booking.com, where I booked, rather than only on your own website, which I didn’t look at. If I’d known, I wouldn’t have booked the spa that I found out I couldn’t use. You describe this as a 4-star hotel. A cheap or cheaply furnished room isn’t acceptable for a 4-star hotel, and I invite you to visit one for comparison. The room was old and badly patched up. As I saw and discussed in person, you still don’t seem able to see anything wrong with your actions or management. Your reply only confirms what I wrote and experienced.
