Heimo was kind and helpful, even calling us on the way back to Munich Airport. With the traffic at the Kufstein border, he suggested we drive through Garmisch-Partenkirchen, which kept us from missing our plane. The apartment worked well for our family of six. It was spacious, very clean, and well equipped, and we enjoyed the Finnish sauna set in a relaxing African atmosphere.

We had a pleasant short ski holiday in January 2023, staying as three people at Vier Jahreszeiten, owned by the friendly Heimo Bertl. The two-story apartment is very spacious, with a comfortable sofa in the living room and a TV that gets BVN. Fresh bread rolls can be ordered from a bakery for breakfast. Since the apartment was already available when we arrived, we were allowed to check in early. We plan to return.

We had a fantastic holiday at Vier Jahreszeiten in Ladis and felt completely at ease. Heimo is a friendly, welcoming host. The apartment had everything we needed, with a small terrace and a lovely valley view. The ski lift is just a few minutes away on foot, and the supermarket is right around the corner. The kitchen is adequately equipped, though you’ll need to bring basics like salt, pepper, vinegar, and oil. There’s no oven, just a microwave.

A 10-minute walk gets you to the ski lift, and the supermarket is only 5 minutes away. The apartment itself is lovely, with great views, and the landlord was friendly and helpful. It sits in a very old house shared with three other apartments, arranged over two floors. Upstairs are two bedrooms and a bathroom, while downstairs has the living room and kitchen together, plus another bathroom. A spiral staircase connects the levels. The living area opens onto a terrace that also works as an outside entrance. It’s traditionally furnished and well equipped, with a microwave, dishwasher, and four-burner stove. The ski area takes some getting used to: the runs are narrow and marked red, and in the mornings everyone piles onto two gondolas, with a transfer between lifts. There are well-marked hiking trails reached by mountain lift, and the lifts also act as ski buses between the three villages. Pedestrians can ride up to the mountain for a flat rate, which is a great idea. A solid 5 stars!
