My 15-year-old son and I booked at the last minute through Inghams. I'd never stayed in a chalet hotel before, and this one was immaculately clean, with fantastic food and very helpful English staff. We stayed in the enormous room A1. Breakfast was a hot and cold buffet, and they provided a packed lunch. Hot drinks were available free all day, and afternoon tea usually meant homemade cake and savouries. Each evening there were canapés and prosecco, followed by a chef-prepared four-course dinner. The hotel had a very small indoor pool, plus a sauna and steam room. There wasn't entertainment apart from a quiz night. When my son had an accident near the end of our stay, the manager kindly served dinner in our room. Nothing was too much trouble. My only criticism is that it would be nice to have tea and coffee facilities in the rooms. Highly recommended.

The British staff are so welcoming and make it easy to relax and enjoy the holiday without worrying about other languages. They also encourage guests to mingle. At dinner, couples are seated with another pair at a table of four. We enjoy the conversation that brings, though it may not suit anyone who wants privacy all the time. It's a lovely little place with stunning views and a great location, perfect for summer walking groups!

The setting is great for walking, with superb surroundings and breathtaking scenery. It's a well-placed hotel with excellent views, good food, and plenty of wine. The staff are very willing to make sure you have a comfortable stay.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful location, with great food and staff. The only disappointment was that our room wasn't vacuumed and the towels weren't changed during our week there. The staff and food made up for that minor letdown.

A really nice place with friendly staff. The wellness area was lovely after a long day outside, though the pool could be warmer. Would recommend!
