Kristberg Hotel

The spa was a lovely place to unwind, with a pool, saunas, a cold plunge, and yoga classes. There’s also a gym for anyone wanting more exercise after skiing. We spent 4 days at Hotel Kristberg, and it exceeded my expectations. The location has spectacular views, and the ski lifts are an easy 5 minute walk away. The hotel also offers a free shuttle for pickup and drop-off. The staff were fantastic, always smiling and happy to help. Our room was beautiful, the beds very comfortable, and the stay was truly memorable. Thank you!

The Scotch Club was a highlight for us. We ate there every evening, and Karl-Heinz’s traditional local dishes were made to a really high standard. You can see touches of his long Formula 1 career there too. It’s worth visiting even if you’re not staying at the hotel. We’ve been coming to Lech for years and have stayed at Hotel Kristberg many times. The recent major renovation looks great, especially the full glass facade that gives you mountain views from almost every room and shared space. The hotel also makes a lot of Egon Zimmermann’s history and achievements part of the place. There’s plenty for unwinding after a day out: fitness, yoga, a pool, spa treatments, relaxing areas, and even a steam shower in the room. The slopes and shops are a short walk away, and the shuttle makes getting there easy. With two restaurant options as well, Michael and his team have made a comfortable, welcoming hotel that still feels connected to its history. Thank you, Michael!

We just got back from a three-day birthday trip with 30 friends, and the owners and staff made handling our group feel easy. Everyone was friendly, and the spa, especially the Jacuzzi, was a great way to finish the day. The rooms had fantastic views too. Hotel Kristenberg reopened 10 weeks ago after a major renovation, and it looks top-notch. The style feels high-fashion but still cozy. It’s a convenient five-minute walk to skiing, and there’s also a free private shuttle that takes you around. We had a brilliant stay.

Spending time with Michael and learning about his uncle Egon felt like a real privilege. Nadine and the team gave us such a warm welcome, and the stay turned into one of my best experiences in the Alps. I’d absolutely recommend Hotel Kristberg in Lech, whether you stay there or just stop by the Scotch Club for food and drinks.
