Monzabon

Hotel Monzabon has a lovely blend of modern comforts and old-time charm. The Schneider family are wonderful hosts who pay attention to the details and get to know each family so they can cater to what people want. The food is excellent, the location is right on the mountain, and everything is impeccably clean. It feels romantic and luxurious, with beautiful appointments, but not commercial. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, luxurious vacation in Lech.

The Schneider family do a great job, and their team seems to enjoy the work, which made our stay feel special. The food was fantastic, from filling breakfasts that kept us going on the slopes to high-quality local cuisine at dinner. Liam and André served us with a smile, and Tobias taught us about Austrian wine. We had a memorable early half-term ski break with the family at Hotel Monzabon. Maybe we’ll come back so our youngest can take André up on that ski race.

Getting to the slopes and chairlifts couldn’t be easier, and the heated lockers kept our ski gear dry and ready each morning. Tobias makes an excellent Aperol Spritz, and Liam and Andre made dining smooth and enjoyable. We spent a wonderful week here and felt welcome as soon as we arrived. The Schneider family and staff go out of their way to make sure guests have what they need for a relaxing holiday. Our room was warm and spacious, the hotel was impeccably maintained, and the abundant food was top quality. Nothing seemed too much trouble. We really hope to return. Many thanks to everyone for making the holiday what we’d hoped for.

Melanie went out of her way to help with our planned day trip to Vaduz, emailing us city information and recommendations for places to visit. After checkout, she helped even more: we realized in Kitzbühel that we’d left our passports in the room safe, and she quickly found them and mailed them at no extra cost so we’d get them before our next flight. That kind of thoughtfulness says a lot about Hotel Jagdhaus Monzabon. We spent a week skiing in Arlberg with our family, and the high-quality meals and attentive service were a daily highlight. The Schneider family own and run this beautifully decorated, meticulously maintained hotel, where the elegant details and genuine hospitality go hand in hand. They made us feel welcome in their home. We’ve stayed at many hotels across the Alps over the last three years, and Monzabon is our favorite. It feels like a place where guests are treated as family.
