I Am Hotel Im Living Campus

My family and I had a relaxing, comfortable stay, and we'll definitely come back to LEOBEN. The Mur river is right behind the hotel, with a regularly mowed lawn, basketball court, soccer field, beach volleyball court and even a barbecue area. Indoors, there's an electric stove, microwave and plenty of hot water. There's also a washer and dryer in the basement.

The only real upside is the river view from the dormitory room in summer, though you also have to deal with flies. The walls let sound through badly, and they're short, so there's no privacy. You hear your neighbors clearly and they hear you, like you're all in the same apartment. In some rooms you can even see a neighbor through the gap at the top of the wall, which ranges from about 1 mm to 10 cm. Food smells get into your room too, especially garlic, which seems to be the usual smell around here. The furniture is all the cheapest stuff from Möbelix. Cooking feels dangerous because it could cost you 440 euros. Firefighters come twice a week, and poor students can end up paying 440 euros just for cooking an egg. Be really careful with communication. Don't rely on conversations, send emails and keep the replies. If you live there, only communicate in writing, or you might have trouble on the day you leave and lose your deposit. Even one star is too much.
