A perfect base for a family holiday. This is the best place to stay, and we’ll definitely come back.

We stayed in the top apartment at Ferienwohnungen Sonnrain 13, with three bedrooms and a big, comfortable living area. It was spacious enough to be a great base for our group. The building has been renovated beautifully, with a modern feel. Getting around was easy: public transport is close, the train station is a short distance away, and shops and several good restaurants are an easy walk. The skiing in the Leogang area was world-class. The hosts were lovely and made us feel at home. We enjoyed our winter stay so much that we’re already planning to return in summer.

The management was easy to reach and helpful, even at 10 pm, which made a real difference. Parking is available on site, and the regular ski bus gives convenient access to a first-class ski area. Check-in also comes with a welcome card that includes one free gondola ride. At the top station, Fisch Hendel has a great atmosphere and excellent food. We booked the top-floor apartment and loved the stylish, luxurious rooms and the generous space. It suits couples or families, and the kitchen has everything needed for a comfortable stay. For cozy, well-equipped accommodation in the heart of Leogang, I’d recommend it.
