We felt right at home, thanks to landlords who were genuinely welcoming and open with their guests. They even drove us to an alpine pasture and then to a lake for a hike. The garden was lovely, with trees for welcome shade on hot days, plus a hammock and lounge chairs for guests to use. We could feed and pet the animals, including two chickens, two goats, two white rabbits, and guinea pigs, and enjoy farm produce like eggs, lettuce, and herbs at no charge. The apartment was beautiful, thoughtfully designed, cozy, and had plenty of storage and everything else we needed.

This was my fifth stay, and the first time without children. The setting is stunning and peaceful, with nature all around and plenty of hiking. The hosts are sweet and attentive, and it feels like coming home. The apartments are excellent, solidly built, practical, and well maintained, and there’s comprehensive, excellent information available. There’s plenty for children to enjoy. The kitchen is fully equipped, but it’s also nice to eat out at the cozy inn just a 5-minute walk away, where the staff are friendly and the food is delicious. It’s a genuinely enjoyable stay, and I highly recommend it. Bring enough food and other necessities for a few days. Village shops are reasonably close, but you’ll need a car, and more extensive shopping is about a half-hour drive away. We’d love to come back soon!

The peaceful mountain setting made it easy to relax, and we really liked the apartment too. This was our second visit with our three grandchildren, and everything had been thought of for the children.
