Dormero DeHo Linz

We had a family booking but weren’t placed next to each other, or even on the same floor. Management should check reservations like this, let guests know ahead of time, and offer some kind of remedy. The rooms themselves were spacious and very good, and breakfast was nice too. The hotel is just off the highway, though the town centre isn’t really within easy walking distance. Underground parking also felt quite expensive.

The room should have been clean and working from the start. Instead, the shower drain was completely blocked and flooded the bathroom, the floor was dirty, and the chair legs were badly bent. My Amex also didn’t work at check-in. The staff were friendly and offered me another room, which I appreciated, but these issues should be fixable within a day. I’d had a good experience with Amedia before, so this stay was disappointing.

Everything else was fine, but the room wasn’t cleaned at all during my stay and the WiFi kept cutting out. That made it a poor fit for a business trip.

The rooms were decent and the hotel itself was fine, a little outside the city centre. What really let us down was how we were treated after we accidentally left a small bag of belongings behind. When we called to arrange collection on our return, we kept being passed between people and told to call back later. We also emailed and got no reply or help. It seemed the items were simply being kept. The receptionist on duty August 3rd at 1:20 PM was especially unpleasant and eventually hung up on me. We were genuinely shocked by her behavior. If she hadn’t been so rude and unprofessional, I wouldn’t have written this review.
