Midnight fireworks were the highlight of our New Year's Eve stay. We'd love to return. The boys, who are 6 and 8, spent hours in the well-equipped playroom with all sorts of building and stacking toys. The indoor play area, with its ball pit and slide, was fantastic too. At first the indoor pool seemed small, but we usually had it to ourselves. We enjoyed swimming, although the water and surrounding area could have been warmer.

We were so happy with our five days at Pirker's with our children, aged 3 and 5, and wished we could have stayed longer. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a little room just for the kids, and a wonderful mountain view. The half-board plus meals were varied and left us wanting for nothing. I'd heard the lack of vegan options mentioned, so I want to say that even as a very picky eater, I had something delicious every day. They clearly put real effort into making good, suitable food for everyone. The kids ate everything at dinner, and they loved the Paw Patrol rolls at breakfast. There was so much for families to do: childcare, an indoor playground, an outdoor area with animals, a lovely pool, and even swimming lessons for our son. Nearby, we found waterfalls, a donkey farm, a castle, museums, and the artists' town of Gmünd. Our children made new friends each day, and the happy family atmosphere came through throughout the hotel. We weren't there in peak season, but the value was outstanding, especially for a family-run place that makes quality and a welcoming atmosphere affordable. Even the nearly six-hour trip was worth it. Many thanks to the Pirker family and the whole team. You can feel how much heart they put into their work all day long! 🙂

The all-inclusive meals were generous, with even midday soup and salad covered, and dinner was delicious. The kids were thrilled with their buffet. Drinks were included too, even wine and beer in the evening, so we really lacked for nothing. We all felt very comfortable. Many thanks to the Pirker family and the entire team. We stayed three nights at the Pirkers Hotel with our children and grandchildren, aged 18 months and 4 years. Two adults went skiing at Katschberg while the rest stayed at the hotel with the little ones. Keeping them happy was easy: they spent hours on the small toboggan run with the provided sleds and toboggans, visiting the ponies and goats, and playing in the several large, well-stocked indoor rooms. The ball pit with its built-in slide was sensational.
