Landal Resort Maria Alm

We loved how easy it was to leave the car parked for the whole stay. The lifts are a short, easy walk, even with little kids, and the trails right outside the resort have breathtaking mountain views. There are great local restaurants around the village, about a five-minute walk away. For families, the spacious multi-bedroom apartments make it easy to spread out. Our full kitchen and fireplace made evenings much more relaxing than in a standard hotel room. The kids had plenty to do with go-karts, playgrounds, and the Bollo Club, where crafts and games were a lifesaver. There’s an Intersport on site for rentals and a Billa supermarket just around the corner, which made the practical side of the trip simple. The gym is well equipped, and the beautiful blue pool was great after hiking, tobogganing, and more. Amazing views, we’ll definitely be back!

The food was just okay, and the stay felt like poor value for what we paid. The hotel’s location was the only real positive. The manager seemed to have a bad attitude toward employees, and everyone looked overworked and underpaid.

We spent four nights at Landal resort Maria Alm. The three-room apartment was very nice, and the rooms were clean. You can walk to the Hochkonig ski area, and there’s a very good bakery nearby that opens early. The pool is separate from the sauna, which is located individually in the apartment.

The restaurant downstairs had exceptional service, and everyone at Landal Maria Alm made us feel right at home. When we asked for a new coffee machine, they brought one within a few minutes. The amenities were top-notch, and we loved the pool and fitness room, with options for both relaxing and working out. Our daughter is still too young for the kids' club, but I’m sure she’ll love it when we come back next year. We can’t wait to return for another wonderful stay! Family Hilali & Guesmi
