The meals were the best part of my stay. Breakfast had loads of choice, from eggs, sausage and bacon on the hot plate to muesli, cold cuts, fruit, cereal, breads and pastries. There was juice, filter coffee and barista coffee, plus all the usual extras like jam and Nutella. Dinner was just as good, with a great salad buffet, starters, mains and desserts, and the bar and waitstaff were excellent. Hotel Pinzgauer is perfectly placed for a ski trip. The Natrunbahn lift is less than a 30 second walk away, with free parking outside and shops, a supermarket, bars and restaurants nearby. Maria Alm is an easy hours drive from Salzburg airport. My single balcony room was basic but comfortable, with a great shower, plenty of hot water and pressure, and amazing views. The staff were very helpful, the hotel has a lift, and everything was spotlessly clean. The sauna is Austrian/German style, so leave your swimshorts in your room and follow the matching etiquette. It was a decent place to unwind after skiing. Families, groups and couples all seemed to be enjoying themselves at Hotel Pinzgauer. Thanks for a brilliant stay. I'll consider coming back and have already recommended it to friends.

The dinners and breakfast at the restaurant were fantastic, and the staff really go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. It's a lovely family-run hotel right in the town center. Thanks for the Christmas treats, they were a nice surprise!

The owner made a point of checking in with me every day and making sure I had what I needed. She and the staff were so kind, helpful and accommodating. My room was spotless, and the breakfast buffet was AMAZING. Hotel Pension Pinzgauer sits just off the main road in this lovely mountain town, so it was quiet but still close to pretty much everything. Restaurants, shops and the grocery store are within walking distance, and trails and a ski lift are right outside. If you find yourself in this part of Austria, I highly recommend staying here. I'd absolutely come back.

We spent more than a week at Pinzgauer Hof and had a very pleasant stay. The rooms are spacious and well maintained, and both the hosts and staff are welcoming and attentive to the little details. They work hard to make guests feel at home. I'd highly recommend Pinzgauer Hof for a holiday in Maria Alm.
