A great hotel for a Mayrhofen visit. The rooms are clean, tidy, and spacious, and the Half Board menu is good, with three set mains to choose from plus a buffet for soup, salad, and dessert. It’s just a three minute walk to the Penkenbahn and two minutes to the Ahornbahn. I’d recommend it.

We came for dinner and had the best steak I’ve had in a long time. Laura, our Waitress, chose the perfect wine pairing and made really good recommendations. Very impressed, and we’ll definitely be back.

Laura looked after our large group really attentively, and the food came out efficiently. We were on a work ski trip and they were happy to fit in three extra people at short notice. Great food and great staff.

This is about the restaurant, since I couldn’t find its own Google page. After a nice day skiing, my family and I thought we’d relax here. The €16 Kaiserschmarren arrived badly burnt, practically charcoal, with what seemed like 50 raisins instead of cherries. The price already felt absurd, and neither the dessert nor even the Coca-Cola tasted good.

The room’s layout and design were very good, and breakfast was high standard with excellent service. We stayed one night and came away with a good impression overall. The sauna area, though, was a disaster and didn’t feel up to four-star standards to me. Also, if you’re a light sleeper, the hotel may not suit you: it’s in town beside a fairly loud river.
