Our group of 11, six kids and five adults, booked the whole hostel and had a great time. The sleeping arrangements suited everyone, with two-person rooms for the parents and dorms for the kids. The showers were practical, and the kitchen and common room had a long table where we ate together. Outside, there was a lovely garden with hammocks and raspberries ready to pick. Ginzling feels like something from a folk tale and makes a great starting point for hikes in the nearby valleys. We all want to return!

Bret welcomed me so warmly that the hostel quickly felt like a home away from home. I was here in summer and ended up extending my stay because I wanted to remain longer. It's ideal for hiking: trails start at the hostel, and there's also a bus stop right outside for rides up into the mountains. I'd recommend it 100% and would love to get back soon.

I wanted to spend my whole summer holiday in one place, surrounded by nature, with a homey base for exploring the mountains. This hostel was exactly that. The guys created such a homely atmosphere, and the animals made it even nicer. When I was there, that included two kittens and a puppy. It's remote and right beside some amazing hiking trails, which was perfect for me. Thanks for a great holiday, guys. I hope to come back soon!

The hosts were amazing and made us feel welcome. We had a lovely room with comfortable bedding and a beautiful view, plus the showers and toilets were modern and really clean. The location was wonderful too. If I return to Austria, I'll stay here again, hopefully long enough to see more of the sights around the hostel.

The backyard mountain hostel has a big living room where you can relax, play games and meet other guests. The dorms are roomy, and everything feels new and clean. What makes the place special is the homey feeling the guys create, plus sharing dinner and going snowboarding together. I had an amazing time and would definitely recommend staying here!
