The staff made us feel at home and were very welcoming. Hotel Landhaus Carla was a wonderful base for our ski holiday, and the best price we could find in the area. Breakfast and the sauna were included, which we hadn’t expected. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the Penkenbahn, which might be tricky in ski boots, but the bus and train stop right outside the door.

After a leg-burning day on the slopes, the sauna and cold plunge are great. There’s also a bar with Sky Sports, plus a pool table and darts. Nice rooms too. What more could you want?

After a day on the slopes, the on-site restaurant was a highlight, with delicious traditional Austrian food, and the well-stocked bar was a great place to unwind in the evening. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout. The atmosphere was peaceful, and the other guests were considerate, so it was easy to relax. The location is convenient, around a 10-minute walk to the gondola, or there’s a nearby bus. Breakfast had a good range and was substantial enough to start the day. The spacious, spotless rooms were well maintained and comfortable. I had a fantastic stay and would definitely come back.

The location beside the station was great, and so was our room, a Junior Suite. The restaurant downstairs serves pretty good Austrian dishes, while breakfast was basic. The city center is just a short walk away. We were disappointed to find that in August the sauna was available only on request and cost €20. We decided not to use it, and it would have been good to know beforehand. Some interactions with staff were very good, others uncomfortable.
