The location made getting around easy, just a two-minute walk from the train and bus station. We relied on public transport for our hikes to Olpererhutte and Stillup Valley, so that was especially handy. I stayed three nights with my sisters, and we loved the large, clean rooms. After a rainy hike, the sauna was a welcome treat. There’s also a small gym with ping pong and some exercise machines. Katharina and Marcus were lovely owners and suggested some good hikes. We had the best stay and would love to come back!

It was pretty good.

The owner was friendly, and the apartments were clean with everything you need. A few more herbs would be a nice addition. The sauna is a bonus, though you have to book a time slot ahead, so it can be hard to use spontaneously. You can reach the gondola in two minutes by bus, or walk there in about 15 minutes in ski boots.

Our children had a great time in the playground and pool, even though it was cold. The welcome was perfect, and it was nice having the train so close. Great location!
