Bio Hotel Oswalda Hus

The wellness area was huge and had snacks and tea, and there were yoga and meditation classes. Service was very friendly. We enjoyed the high-quality four-course dinner and wine, along with the different breakfast options. A great hotel for a couple or solo mountain trip for wellness, hiking, or skiing. Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely be back!

I loved the sense of care from the owners, and enjoyed my whole week there. It’s a lovely place to stay, where you can find your own pace.

The room was clean, but very basic, with no fridge, luggage rack, or kettle. We also found it less comfortable than expected. It was minus 10 degrees outside, and the room hadn’t been heated before we arrived. Our room was in a separate building, with no slippers provided for going between buildings. Dinner tasted good, but wasn’t enough after a day outdoors. The sauna was okay, though the oven was switched off well before closing. The tea selection was good. Reception didn’t feel friendly or welcoming, and they couldn’t offer maps or suggestions for winter walks. There was no Wi-Fi in the rooms, so we expected more information from reception. Waits there were at least 10 minutes, which felt rather long. Breakfast had plenty of choice, but the bread was stale and they served desserts left over from two nights earlier. It also started late, at 8 am, and we would have preferred 7. There’s no elevator to the rooms either. All in all, it didn’t feel worth four stars.
