That hill is a bit of a workout after a day out, but it's what gives the guesthouse such a fantastic view, and it was worth it every time. We had such a warm, atmospheric stay at Gasthof Stebauer and would love to return. The family welcomed us with real interest and a smile, and were incredibly kind. We felt right at home. Our rooms were spacious and spotless, and the whole guesthouse stayed tidy. Breakfast was excellent, served inside or on the terrace depending on the weather, with lovely views over the greenery and Lake Mondsee. During the day, they'd happily bring freshly brewed coffee with homemade cake, and took great care with every request. They also gave us great ideas for trips nearby. We kept busy running, cycling, climbing two beautiful via ferratas, and exploring the mountains and all the gorgeous lakes around. Thanks for everything!
