The fantastic, large balcony with its unusual, sensational view is the standout, and the location is great too. The mattress was good, and the pillows were okay. I have come to Nauders from Australia five times for Dreilandergiro, and Muttler apartment is our favorite. I might book it again next year, so don't let my complaints put you off staying here. The place is old and run-down, though. Curtains fall off their hooks, there's no baking dish despite the oven, the old filter coffee machine has a broken glass spout, the shower doors are broken, and the bathroom is tiny. It could use a Nespresso machine and microwave oven. Those would cost the owner maybe EUR150, and with them I'd give it five stars. As it is, I gave four. Guests can also use Tiroler Hof Hotel, where we had a very reasonably priced four-course meal. The salad bar at the start and the cheese bar at the end were the highlights. The appetiser, main course, and dessert were okay, nothing special, but it was still good value and worth trying.

The check-in arrangements were hard to figure out, since it was handled through the associated hotel on the other side of town. We stayed in a spacious, clean room on the lowest level, but its appliances were outdated and needed replacing. The garden furniture was also in poor shape.

After a 10-hour journey, I found that my room still hadn’t been cleaned. I’ve been waiting in my car for an hour now, and I missed the pool and sauna since they close at 7 pm. A horrible experience.
