Kaiserhotel Neuwirt

The food was lovely, and the all-inclusive stay made meals easy. It’s a beautiful place, though the Wi-Fi was a little slow. The shower is over a bath, there’s no lift, and the rooms could use air conditioning in hot weather and a mini fridge.

We found the rates reasonable for what you get. The traditional Austrian building was very clean, and the staff were friendly and happy to help with anything. Meals were hearty, traditional Austrian food, with plenty to eat. On warm summer evenings, there’s an outdoor seating area where you can relax with a beer.

The staff made us feel looked after from the start. After our first day, they remembered what we liked to drink and had it ready when we sat down. We stayed on an all-inclusive deal for a ski holiday, and there was lots to do nearby, including walks, cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, and a room for trying a traditional Austrian wooden curling game without stones. The food was tasty, made with local ingredients, and served in generous portions. It’s classic Austrian cooking, on the heavy side. Our room was a little old-fashioned but cozy, clean, and had good beds. There was an unpleasant toilet smell in our room, which seemed to be due to poor ventilation there. It’s a really nice family hotel with a good atmosphere. I’d go back if I got the chance.

The room was wonderful, and there was plenty of delicious food. The staff were so polite and helpful, especially Rita, Agnes and Alona. I’d gladly recommend this hotel.
