Pension Grünerhof

We had a lovely winter sports stay here in 2024. The location couldn't be better, and the service was exceptionally good, with such friendly, welcoming staff. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and high quality. Our room was spacious, clean, and fully equipped. Having a separate locked room for ski gear was very convenient after a day on the slopes. A great choice for a comfortable, easy stay.

The breakfast buffet looked excellent and was top quality, which I especially appreciated as a nutritionist. The bathroom and toilet were also first-rate, with a spacious shower. I stayed three nights at the Grüner Hof apartment hotel while taking part in the Ötztal Marathon, and felt very comfortable. They handled everything smoothly, especially for the cyclists. The room carpet wasn't up to scratch, although it was well maintained. Dog owners should feel welcome, with good walks starting right outside. The walk into the center has some uphill stretches, so you'll need to be a decent walker, though that's mountain terrain. Definitely recommended.

The staff were incredibly friendly and the value for money is excellent. The breakfast is fantastic, and the rooms are kept clean and tidy. It's right by the slopes, and I'd gladly stay again. A few little details were missing, though, such as having only three coat hooks, which just wasn't enough.

We chose this guesthouse for the Ötztal Cycle Marathon. The room was large, comfortable, and nice, though a bit noisy. The setting is lovely and quiet, but getting to Sölden on foot is somewhat difficult. Breakfast was fine for our two-day stay, although there wasn't much variety. We couldn't use the sauna because it was only open for a short time in the afternoon. Be aware that card payments aren't accepted.
