Theresa and her family were accommodating in every way, and we hope to return soon. The food was really good, with hearty Austrian dishes, lots of variety and a vegetarian option each day. Breakfast was lovely too. For our family of four, with two teenagers, the room arrangement worked perfectly: two double rooms connected by a large shared bathroom, plus a spacious balcony. The gondola to the Hochgurgl area, which we preferred to Obergurgl, was a short walk away. We rented skis at the shop by the lift and used its storage, which was very convenient. One small thing: it would have been nice to use the bar and restaurant area earlier in the afternoon, after skiing around 4 p.m., to relax, play cards or have a drink, even from a small self-service selection. It currently opens at 5:30 p.m., which we understand takes work for the family. A lovely little hotel for skiing. We’d love to come back.

We’ve now stayed here twice for skiing, and it’s our favorite place for a holiday. The owners are genuinely friendly and the service feels personal. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, fresh and high quality, with plenty of choice. We especially loved the traditional Austrian dishes. The rooms, like the rest of the accommodation, are clean and beautifully decorated. There’s also a comfortable wellness area, and the ski lift is about a 10-minute walk away. We’ll certainly return.

We’ll be back. It’s a very nice, clean pension with lovely rooms, a big choice at breakfast and consistently good dinners. The atmosphere is friendly and feels like family.
