Apartment Stadler

The view was stunning, and we loved the house as soon as we walked in. Elisabeth house is gorgeous, clean, and comfortable. Hallstatt is easy to reach with a short train and ferry ride, and the station is only a five-minute walk away. We highly recommend staying here.

We had a lovely stay, and I can't recommend this place enough for a visit to Hallstatt/Obertraun. The apartment was clean and spacious, the kitchen worked well, and the view from our room was unbeatable. Our host was friendly and very helpful with ideas for things to do nearby. She even helped us sort out a parking fine we didn't know how to handle. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

We loved the view, and the beds felt comfortable and homely. The lady was friendly, and there's a great bakery just five minutes away with delicious bread. Getting there at night was tricky because none of the signs reflected light, though it was much easier in daylight. There was a dead bug on the window, and the pots and pans were badly scratched. The utensils seemed cheap and contained Teflon and other materials that could be harmful when heated. They shouldn't be used for cooking, and Elisabeth should replace them with stainless steel, copper, or cast iron.

The balcony view was beautiful, especially with everything covered in snow and the lake and mountains in sight. The bed was very comfortable, and we cooked dinner in the well-equipped kitchen. The apartment was lovely and conveniently located in Obertraun. Elisabeth was so friendly that she even drove us to Hallstatt on a snowy day. We hadn't realized the apartment wasn't meant for children under 12, but Elisabeth let us stay for two nights anyway, which we really appreciated. There are about two or three flights of stairs if you have luggage, but we managed. I wish we could have stayed longer.
