House in Obertraun on Lake Hallstatt with parking

The internet was very slow, maybe because the WiFi only reaches from the main office, so it wasn't good for calls or work. Aside from that, we had a great stay. The restaurant on site served some of the best food I've had on my trip, and the staff were all friendly and patient with tourists who only speak English. It's a good base for visiting Hallstatt, especially if you're traveling by car and want to see other places too. I'd highly recommend it for solo travelers, couples, or small families.

The scenery around the resort was surreal, with mountains and the lake all around, and the location made getting around easy. Hallstatt is very close, the skiing area is nearby, and the train station is right in front of the resort. Our accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well organized. Breakfast had a great selection of fresh food. The staff were friendly, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. I'd definitely return and recommend it to anyone visiting the region.

The train going by nearby makes the place feel like a movie, and the natural setting is so unique and magical. It’s beautifully placed by Lake Hallstatt, with lovely scenery. Breakfast was good too. I can’t wait to come back.

We had a terrace outside with a table, which seems like a great option in summer. From our room window we could see the mountains, and Obertraun is just a few minutes’ easy drive from Hallstatt. The lake is only a minute’s walk away. The facilities, cleanliness, quiet, views, location, and staff were all amazing. Breakfast was very good and included options suitable for coeliacs. I didn't have time to visit the spa, but from a quick look outside, it seemed fantastic.
