We booked for four friends and had a great stay. The staff were friendly, always helpful, and had all the information we needed laid out at the desk. Thanks to that team of heroes, we could leave our things in the lobby before check-in, so we didn't have to carry them all morning. Our room had a big balcony overlooking the lake and mountains. It was clean, the bathroom was clean and well maintained, and the beds were comfortable enough. Breakfast was a standard buffet, with a great view and some outdoor space to enjoy a meal or coffee.

We loved the balcony view over the lake. It was chilly at New Year, but looking out felt almost magical for people like us who don't get snow at home. The location worked really well too: about a five-minute walk from the train station, with a bus stop just behind the hotel for the ski resort or local service. Hallstat is walkable if you don't mind going a few miles. The woman working there was friendly, spoke excellent English, and went above and beyond. We were checking out early, and she arranged a takeaway breakfast the night before, which I hadn't expected.

The host was so lovely and friendly, always smiling. The room was tidy and clean, and breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety. I think the hotel's 8.7 rating is really unfair because everything was fantastic. If you're looking for an unbelievable place to relax, choose this hotel. Thanks for everything, I'll definitely come back! 💖

Getting here by ferry or bus is easy, and the room is fully functional with good equipment. The ferry costs €12 one way or €18 round trip, but takes cash only. The bus is €2.80 each way and accepts card or cash. It's a convenient location for visiting Hallstatt, and they serve a very good breakfast.

The hotel is outside the village of Hallstatt, close to the lake and mountains. We could enjoy the lake in a quiet setting away from the crowds. Our room slept five and had a balcony, with a garden too. Everything was very clean, breakfast was delicious and varied, and the staff were friendly.
