A cozy, quiet place with a bit of old Austria in its interior, including lots of wall posters and framed pictures about Vienna and schubrunn legacies. It’s a budget-friendly stay, run by nice people. The one thing missing is a restaurant.

A lovely little villa, cozy and beautifully furnished, with clean, roomy spaces. Breakfast was good, the price was budget friendly, and the location is convenient, right on the edge of Vienna.

A clean, budget-friendly stay with really nice interiors. The owners are very nice and professional, and it works well for small families. There’s no restaurant here.

I can’t believe they charged 25 € for my 5-month-old child. That’s not respectful!

The villa itself, the garden, the location, and the rooms could have made for a nice stay. But the service was so cold and unfriendly that it ruined the experience. I’ve stayed in private accommodation many times and never felt this unwelcome. Guests seemed merely tolerated here, not treated with care. When we arrived, the manager gave us a brief “Grüss Gott,” immediately asked for cash, handed over the keys and a few instructions, then disappeared until we went home. Questions were out of the question because he cut us off rudely. Once he had the money, we felt like we no longer mattered. Breakfast the next morning was a farce: two stale slices of bread cut into quarters, hard wrinkled rolls, a few slices of cheap sausage and cheese, five tomatoes, and eggs. There was also muesli, jam, and little portions of cream cheese. I don’t know how many guests were staying, and I didn’t see anyone, but even one person wouldn’t have had enough from this so-called buffet. We brought our own sausage, cheese, and rolls for the next morning. When we left, nobody was around to say thank you, goodbye, or have a safe journey. We left the key and went. It was deeply disappointing to be treated like that. The landlord should rethink how he treats guests and show a bit more friendliness instead of just taking the money and spoiling someone’s holiday. He charged 360 euros for so little effort and came across as very callous. It’s sad. I had to give one star to post this, but I wouldn’t give it a star otherwise. There’s no rating for this behavior. I can’t say anything positive. Consider going there.
