A wonderful host, a wonderful place, and a wonderful time spent there.

A bit like Fawlty Towers, and you’ve got to love that.
10/10
We loved the beach area, and our dog felt welcome and comfortable too. The room was lovely, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was fantastic, and we had everything we needed. Many thanks to our lovely hosts for such a wonderful stay. We’ll definitely be back.
10/10
We had a very enjoyable stay at Strussnighof. The hosts were friendly and attentive, and we especially liked the cozy, quiet setting. The farm sits a little above the village center and lake, so it’s easy to reach while still feeling peaceful. For a longer visit, there’s a lovely garden with a view of the lake. It was the starting point for our cycling holiday, and we spent one night in a clean, pleasant double room overlooking the countryside. The breakfast buffet wasn’t as extensive as a large hotel’s, but it was varied and sufficient, with something for everyone.
2/10
The owners were kind and helpful, but the rooms were in terrible shape. There was dust, spiders and beetles, and everything smelled damp and moldy. The bed linens had the same smell and were stained. We won't be returning.
