The food was lovely, and JUSTINA at reception was wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble for her. We came as four adults and two children and had a great holiday. The bathing area by the lake was one of the best we've had in portschach, and the bar there served drinks and lunches, which was great for the kids. I did miss having a bar open at the hotel. There was one, but it wasn't in use, and drinks were only served at meal times. With such a big garden and a children's play area, it was disappointing that the hotel was dark by 9, with no lights outside and everything locked up.

I’ve stayed here plenty of times and always find it a great place for a holiday. They make you feel welcome and look after you well. The bathing area is great too.

The reception staff seemed overwhelmed, and the breakfast buffet was quite basic, with room to improve both the choice and quality. Our room also had a musty smell that made it unpleasant to be in. It wasn't as clean as I expect as a guest, and the furnishings feel very dated and overdue for renovation. The shower fittings in particular are old, and getting the hot and cold water right took a lot of time and effort. We left disappointed. With more care over the details, better-trained staff, and a proper modernization, the hotel could have potential, but as things are, we can't recommend it.

We loved the private beach access and the great view over Lake Wörthersee. The staff were courteous, helpful, and good with children. Our room was cozy and clean, and breakfast was a hearty buffet with lots of choice. A fantastic hotel, highly recommended!
