The views are just wow, and the room was cozy, with a comfy bed and an amazing pillow and blanket. Breakfast was delicious, the balcony was huge, and the showers were new. Mrs. was super nice, and I admire her for her age. Just be prepared to speak at least a little German.

We slept well on good mattresses, with the sound of the river flowing nearby, and had a very pleasant night. The room was simply furnished but had everything we needed, and from the balcony we could enjoy the surrounding countryside. The hostess was very friendly. Breakfast was adequate, though nothing special. The house is right on a main road, but traffic is light, so it works well as a base for day trips by car.

The village is about a 15-minute walk away, and you can't hear the road in front of the building. For anyone hiking the Isel Trail, I'd recommend this guesthouse. Our room was spotless and well maintained, with big bright windows, a spacious balcony, and a shower, overlooking the Isel River from the hillside. The hosts are very friendly. We really enjoyed staying here and would happily return.
